The Association Noarte Paese Museo and the ATI SanSperArte Paese Museo, in cooperation with the City Council of San Sperate and the Fundação Bienal de Arte de Cerveira, call out for the Editorial Illustration Award "SansperArte Paese Museo" to develop a picture book.
The award is dedicated to all the young people who, in 1968 played an important role in the cultural revolution that transformed the small centre of San Sperate (Sardinia) into a Museum Town, and particularly to the memory of Pinuccio Sciola (1942-2016), internationally renowned artist, founding father of the Museum Town.
The Award aims at spreading the universal message put out by the Museum Town, using literature for kids as a medium and activating a process of participation in relation to art production.
Enrolment to the Award is free of charge and the call is open to artists of any nationality, place of origin or residence, with no age restrictions.
(please note that the illustration must represent a summary of the whole tale included in the Exhibit 1, and not resemble only a part of it)
