San Sperate is well known for his soil fertility, perfect climatic conditions, and the water from the nearby rivers that make it one of the most important agricultural centers in Sardinia. Citrus fruits and peaches (even more so) are renowned for their quality.

San Sperate peaches have a velvety appearance, an intense yellow color, a sweet and juicy texture, and slightly sugary taste; perfect for quenching one’s thirst. It's a product protected by the De.C.O. Peaches of San Sperate (Municipal Denomination of Origin). Recently, young farmers are proposing new products on the market that showcase local excellence, such as peach flavored beer, which is having a tremendous response.

The landscape all around San Sperate is just breathtaking, covered entirely by magnificent gardens. Lemon, orange or mandarin trees are the pride of area. These beautiful plants couldn't find a better habitat than San Sperate.

It`s quite common to see farmer's houses that display fruits for sale at their entrance. Direct sale permit to bypass the entire product distribution chain and enjoy freshly picked up fruits. The visitors can't leave San Sperate without buying some local fruits, freshness and taste are off the charts.
